Your enemies are starting to get very specific about what they don't want you to see.

The Obama Deception is a video created by Alex Jones, one of the only legit independent investigators still around. It shouldn't come as any surprise that the most watched version of this film on Youtube has been removed illegally. How about a world hack point of view?

The video was removed by someone who had access to the password on the account, or by somebody on the inside. Don't forget that Google owns Youtube, and paid dearly for it. Google makes all of its money through advertising, or so they claim. If this is truly the case, there is no reason whatsoever for them to want a very popular video removed from their site. That is what a first look might tell you, but it can't be the whole story. How about a world hack list of facts:

Multiple versions of the video are still present on Youtube under different accounts.

Google and Youtube know who did the removal! What is their cover story?

I think the second fact is the most important. Either youtube/google did the removal themselves, or they have a record of who did. This isn't a conspiracy theory, it is an absolute fact! Even the most simple websites are capable of recording the IP addresses of every single visitor, and every action they take. Even worldhack.info does this! Google and youtube definitely do this, and do it more effectively than anyone else. I speculate that youtube is one big profiling system to detect and follow people who watch strange videos. Don't even get me started on Google/youtube working with U.S. intelligence agencies, since now they have even admitted to such activity.

So, what do you do? First, I suggest you boycott youtube and Google. I don't expect this to have much of an effect, but it can't hurt. Second, go find and watch a copy of the Obama Deception somewhere else in the meantime.

Does world hack believe in God? Not really, but I don't care if you do. I'm doing just fine balancing good and evil on my own.

Who is the creator of the universe? There are some pretty far out answers that would make the most dedicated believers out there think twice. Does world hack believe in god? No. It is important that this question is looked at in greater detail.

I have been on this earth for a few years now, and I have come to the conclusion that the most foolish people I have ever met believe in a supreme being. Some of the smartest people I have ever met also believe in a supreme being. Damn! Did you think this was going to be a simple anecdotal argument? That wouldn't be the world hack way. How about some random thoughts:

Did Jesus rise from the grave and give the human beings on earth a get out of hell free card?

When confronted by an atheist, why do believers always ask "then what do you believe in?" (I guess they don't see the irony)

I think the real problem is not the specifics of the story, but the ideas of belief and faith. To world hack, these words have real meanings, and are not flowery words to be used by fools toward foolish ends. I believe in evolution because I can reproduce natural selection on a computer. This is often called a genetic algorithm, and it is just one of a handful of techniques that demonstrate that evolution is possible. It would take faith for me to believe that evolution took place to create the life seen on earth today. I don't have this faith. This is what makes world hack different from the rest of the bullshit skeptics and so-called scientists out there. There is nothing admirable about having faith in the explanation that most closely fits your world view. The information in an uncompressed human genome takes far less storage than a single movie on DVD. I find it completely foolish that many atheists believe that such an amazingly small amount of information could only have created itself through evolution. Evolution is, however, the answer I would choose if God gave me a multiple choice test. There is your irony.

I often wonder how large a simulation can be done with computers. The 13th floor and the Matrix asked this question by suggesting that in the future the entire civilization on earth could be simulated and the humans wouldn't have a clue. If this were the case, God would be nothing but a computer programmer who could bend the rules on the simulation (You know, miracles!). Does this mean that God is possible? Sure, I'll accept the idea that the universe is completely simulated by a supreme being. This doesn't help us figure things out though, does it. That is what I think is the real problem with belief and faith. It certainly isn't smart to use God as an answer when trying to figure out the universe. The problem is that God is not a better explanation than the simulated universe idea, or "The force", or chi, tao, or any other witchcraft. I have no opinion whatsoever on which flavor of booga booga, or hocus pocus anyone believes. That assumes that your hocus pocus isn't telling you to kill people. If that is the case, feel free to call me Satan while I kill you. More irony! Shit.

This whole line of thinking reminds me of the arguments you hear out of philosophers regarding artificial intelligence. Particularly those who say that intelligence is impossible for computers. One of my professors said that artificial intelligence will never happen, because whenever computers can do something new, it is no longer considered intelligent. Think about it! Chess used to be used to demonstrate human-level thinking. People were freaked out back when very powerful computers were able to play chess poorly. A few decades ago computers got good enough to play well. In what seems like the blink of an eye, technology improved to where a very powerful computer was able to convincingly beat the best human chess player in the world. That was over ten years ago. Now I wouldn't bet on any human in a match versus a computer program running on a typical home PC. That is of course assuming that the program is designed to win. You see, computers are so good at chess that chess software is deliberately designed to make bad moves in order seem more human!

What does artificial intelligence have to do with God? It seems that both disappear when more useful explanations are found. As soon as humans figure out how to do something with artificial intelligence, it is no longer intelligent. It is just a stupid program. As soon as humans find a way to do something that used to require God or other supernatural explanations, it is no longer supernatural. Intelligent design is just backpedaling. This explanation admits that science can explain something, but that God or another supreme being actually did it. Don't seek answers! Your human brain/mind will not meet God when you die, but some supernatural part of you might. It is ok to think anything you want.

I do what I think is right because of how it makes me feel. This requires me to believe that some people will cause more suffering during their lives than they will have to suffer themselves. I don't believe that God, Karma, or the force exists to balance things out. That is what ends up causing all the trouble in this world. Suffering people won't be rich in heaven. Evil people won't suffer in hell. Wouldn't it be nice, though? Do you imagine asking God why he allows evil to exist? I imagine his answer: "I allowed everything to exist. I gave you the power to think and know good and evil." What would God's opinion be on whether means justified ends, or vice versa?

World hack is a human being, and a super-villain mad scientist. A world hack is also a way to use the tools of evil to improve the world.

What is the fastest way to send money? Can you really transfer money faster by shipping cash?

Is anybody out there besides me wondering why completely electronic bank transfers take longer and cost more than overnight shipping of cash? No, it isn't because of security. You could literally hire a human being and pay a living wage and still do a better job! Just think about it:

Human being counts out the cash.

Human being puts it in envelope.

Human being sends the envelope via any overnight shipping.

It arrives the next day!

Am I missing something? Why does an electronic wire transfer work like the following:

Fill out a bunch of numbers for your bank account destination.

Initiate the wire transfer.

Oh, sorry. You missed the deadline for transferring money electronically today. (computers apparently take afternoons off). Did I mention that the deadline is in a different time zone too, where neither myself or the recipient live?

Wait until tomorrow, but don't expect the money to be transferred first thing in the morning.

Side note: There is often another step here where a random number of cents is transferred in order to "verify" the account. It seems that computers need practice swings just like douchebag golfers.

Side-side note: They take the 17 cents back out of your account after you "verify" the account. Did I mention that it is YOU that needs to "verify" the account?

Side-side-side note: Look how badly this article is formatted! The same programmers must have written the bank transfer software.

Obviously, there is some kind of human involvement in electronic bank transfers. What does that person do? Does he/she write everything down in a little ledger? Does he/she personally sign and file a form somewhere?

Extra optional step: Screw up the transaction and pretend that the money is "lost" somewhere. Your poor money didn't know where to go! Your money is like a child in a mall who can't find his mommy!

By the time the transfer is complete, I guarantee you could have physically shipped cash faster, and possibly with less hassle.

All this trouble can cost you $25 dollars or more.

Project world hack will be infiltrating the world of real estate investing. Stay tuned to discover what is possible when computers are better than humans at valuing properties.

Has the world become too risky to behave normally? Can we still pretend that everything is going to be fine? I no longer believe that the world is going to improve or even stay stable for the foreseeable future. That is what project world hack will be addressing. Like any decent comic book supervillains, there needs to be a hideout/compound/headquarters/lair. I know that it may sound strange, but this evil computer scientist is going to get my real estate license!

Did you know that the commissions received by real estate brokers are not a fixed percentage of the sale price by law? It is perfectly legal and acceptable to negotiate a smaller percentage, or to pay only a fee! Of course real estate brokers don't want you to know this, since it is to their advantage to keep taking a large chunk of your money any time you make a transaction. Yes, I have been studying the materials for the exam.

How long would it take a wall street trader to become rich if he or she could see 1 minute into the future? It could probably be done before lunch without breaking a sweat. The reason is that the information available to the trader is better than the information possessed by the rest of the market participants. This is often called information advantage, and can be directly converted into profit using mathematics. The Kelly Criterion is the same formula that makes winning at blackjack possible when counting cards. There is no requirement that the formula be only applied to gambling and trading. I intend to use the formula to invest in real estate.

Real estate investing could be far more lucrative than it is presently viewed by average citizens. I had the impression that real estate investing meant buying a property, and then waiting and hoping that the value would go up. Maybe you can also find a renter willing to pay more rent than it costs to make mortgage payments. Sure, this will eventually lead to profits after many years, but who wants to wait that long? If there is a property for sale at a price lower than you think you could sell it, there should be a way to translate that information into profit.

Project world hack is the name I am giving to this idea. Are computers capable of appraising properties more accurately than human beings? I absolutely guarantee it! I don't want to speak badly about real estate appraisers, but the entire idea of setting a single value on an asset is archaic. There is no question that giving a listing more time will lead to an overall higher sale price generally. So, there is not one value for a property for sale, but many values depending on how long you make it available for sale. Real estate appraisals should be giving their customers some kind of probability analysis based on how long you wish to wait.

What is really happening with the BP oil spill? World hack wants answers.

What do we really know about what is going on with the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico? You know that something is important when any two strangers on the street can talk about it without any explaining.

Here are a few things I speculate about:

Was it an accident? Obviously some suspicious trading went on beforehand. Everyone is demonizing BP, while simultaneously calling it an accident.

How the hell much oil is down there anyway? Is there anything about this oil spill that might be messing with the peak oil theory? What if this thing leaks like this for a year with no hope for stopping? Wouldn't that make you wonder?

What is going to happen if the problem can't be fixed? Massive forced migrations? Widespread mutations? Superheroes?

Speculation is interesting, and so is investigating. Never forget the reasons we do it! How are things going to change when we find out the answers?

What is the point of this blog? I don't have one. It is more of a Jackson Pollock thing: Valuable and nice to look at, but anybody can do it.

Does writing in a blog really have a point? Does anything I say really matter? I don't know. Do professional sports have a point? Does it matter who wins the NBA or NHL playoffs? This is a question that should really make you think. What does matter really mean? From one perspective, the bigger you make your world view, the less anything matters. If you are worrying about world politics, you don't care too much about a bribe or police brutality at a local level. This is how many people think: Sacrifice for the greater good. The other side of this coin is making your world view smaller. This means that if you prevent all the small problems, the big ones will take care of themselves. World Hack tradition, I don't have an answer.

National-level politics are pretty meaningless to me. Replace the prez-o-dent, and the bureaucracy of all of the agencies of government remain the same. When Bush was "elected" in 2000, they didn't do a clean sweep of the national security agency to get rid of the Clinton people. When Barako was elected, they didn't throw out all the white people. No, this is not a political blog. I don't want any of my readers to worry about which actor is currently playing the part of president.

Has anybody noticed how propaganda posters from fascist countries are now collectible? I personally think they are cool. I like the pride displayed with soviet era stuff. Think about how ridiculous the equivalent posters would be in the U.S. if they tried to glorify McDonalds employees. Does anybody remember how they used to dress in the 80s? Ray Kroc must be rolling over in his grave now. A real-life milkshake machine salesman becomes a billionaire, and all of our propaganda is about sports!

So, what is the point of this blog? I don't have one. I want to piss off the people who are still capable of being pissed off. I don't want to have a child who dreams of becoming an extreme gamer. Don't laugh! That is where our country is headed. I predict that professional sports will experience a serious decline in the next few years. They are consistently raising the barriers to watching sports. I'm not going to buy a special package of channels on cable to allow me to see sporting events with ads. I've already drawn my line. This way I will never have to debate whether or not I will pay to watch rich people play video games. That is where the world is going!

Hack the world by expanding your mind. Are serial numbers on money tracking your transactions? Do you even need to use federal reserve notes?

How can you expand your mind and win a mental war against your antagonists. Wouldn't this be an excellent world hack? Actually it is just a rewrapped version of the classic Art-of-war principles about going into battle prepared. Some people ignore these principles because they are about war, and not applicable to real life. I disagree, since war as discussed centuries ago was nothing like the industrial combat we see these days. The difference between a battle and a game is whether people get hurt. Then the world we live in is serious enough to discuss world hacks as though they have life and death consequences. So, when you are expanding your mind to consider some new world hack ideas, lives may be at stake.

Damn this crap sounds so cheesy. Seriously, I don't know what kind of weirdos are out there reading anything on this blog. I shudder at the thought of what kind of people would type "mind expansion world hack" into a search engine. Expand your mind, and think about what happens when all of the things you are wondering about becomes the property of a company that operates for a profit. Remember in the nineties when weirdos used to claim that there were tracking devices in our money? Remember how stupid it sounded? Of course it wasn't true, and probably isn't today, but you need to expand your mind to see that the claim is real. You need to widen your world view. Tracking devices don't need to be in the money! The people tracking the money don't care where you kept your money physically. It doesn't matter to them (I think) whether the money was rolled up in your pocket, or kept in a nice envelope. What matters is the who, what, where, and when were involved in the transaction. The computer scientist in me is screaming to tell you that all you need to keep track of something is a unique identifier: Like a serial number on paper money.

Why does paper money have serial numbers for any good reason besides to track where it gets spent? Most of the talk about new designs for U.S. paper money is to prevent easy counterfeiting. For the most part, this is true. So what we are left requiring for paper money is a design that tastefully satisfies the need to indicate its value, and is difficult to counterfeit. This does not require a serial number. Some might argue that the serial number makes it possible to track down stolen money from banks. Maybe it is, but think about what that would require to put into practice! I don't know anyone who works at a bank that has ever been tasked with checking serial numbers of deposited bills to help catch bank robbers. It would have to be done automatically by some kind of machine. Do the money counting machines at banks record or check the serial numbers? Are there machines at banks that do this, or is it higher up the food chain? How high up would it be? It doesn't really go higher than the federal reserve banks. Are they building a dataset storing transaction histories based on currency serial numbers? At least coins don't yet appear to have any tracking features. Coins wear from use, especially since they are made as cheaply as possible with near-worthless metals. Tracking with serial numbers on coins is probably just not practical. The information gained is probably ignored anyway, since it would mostly mingled in a big mess at coinstar machines. Coins might be a good way for the paranoid to avoid being tracked. Of course, coins are heavy and you can't lift enough to start a real revolution with U.S. coins alone.

Anyway, where was I? Somebody puts those serial numbers on currency for a reason, and we know who they are. No, you aren't crazy, but what does it all mean? It means that the federal reserve has a make-believe monopoly on money! Money can be anything anyone wants that has value. Money has no barriers to entry! "Barriers to entry" are what economists call those things that make it difficult to compete in a marketplace. You need a lot of money to buy a television station, for example. It seems like it is becoming hip to complain about the federal reserve. I say, who gives a shit! You are allowed to transact in any way you desire. You can even print your own money. If you really want to compete with the federal reserve, provide a better product! This means that you need to make money better. Who are your customers? Expand your mind.

Scroogle is being blocked by Google's attempts to control the flow of information. What a world hack it would be to destroy Google! Wouldn't that go nicely on a resume.

Scroogle.org used to operate a website that would take your search queries, and grab the search results from Google. By doing this, they were able to present results without any ads, or any of the other garbage that has made nearly all other search engines annoying. This process also had the benefit that Google, and probably the government, couldn't track your search habits without an extra layer of difficulty. Wouldn't that be nice?

The problem seems to be that scroogle.org was using some antiquated portion of Google that used to produce search results that were easily read by a computer. Now Google no longer supports this. The regular Google interface now works behind the scenes to give you search results that are difficult for computers to interpret, but look normal to humans. For those of you familiar with this blog, you know that I used to be involved with intelligence agencies. What Google is doing is similar to what communist countries used to do during the cold war. The United States used to broadcast propaganda radio stations into their countries. The communists didn't like this, so they tried jamming the signal so citizens couldn't hear it. The U.S. responded by just broadcasting the same signal on multiple frequencies and changing them regularly. This made it too costly to jam all of the broadcasts, so the rock and roll freedom got through anyway. Google is now changing their systems regularly and making it difficult to intercept the information, but not impossible!

Let me remind you of a few things about Google:

Google isn't doing anything magic to provide you with search results. It is all pretty simple computer science taught to undergraduates now. Sure their are some trade secret algorithms, but these usually only offer slight improvements over the most obvious methods.

Google makes ALL of its money through ADS! Google's self-interest will lead to methods that increase money for itself.

I have done the math, and by all of my reasonable estimations Google is reporting more income than they should be earning from ads. This would suggest a number of possibilities:

Google is earning income from other sources and is pretending it came from ad-click revenue. This wouldn't be too difficult since they can make up any numbers they want and nobody could tell them different.

Google could be earning money from other sources using ad-click revenue to move the funds from the source to themselves. This is even more sinister since it takes Google off the hook for explaining any mystery income or keeping two sets of books. This could even be done without any direct participation by Google.

Enough speculation! Let's get down to real solutions:

Search engines are useful, and there should be high quality search available that doesn't rely on scams to keep operating. The "scam" in the Google case is that Google is funded by advertising. Advertising, Google's way, means that the product is you. You and your search habits and information are being sold to whoever will pay. If there is a search engine out there that doesn't need ads, I think people will use it!

All websites, not just search engines, can obtain information about you that most people don't want in the wrong hands. Scroogle fixed this problem by relaying your search through their computers with everyone else's queries. Google would love for you to believe that the information you give them is used to help your user experience and make their search results better. The problem is that they never say that this is the only thing they use it for. In fact, I'll bet they are quite happy with how ignorant everyone seems to be.

If Google wants to make it difficult to scrape their search results, I am up to the challenge.

There are plenty of ways to get around Google, and the other search engines tracking mechanisms. Prepare for war!

Was the big stock market plunge today done to run stops, force margin calls and liquidations? Time will tell. It would certainly indicate a sinister expansion of the evil Wall Street playbook.

What exactly happened today with the stock market? After rushing to write up my first impressions of the event, I read a bit further: This was not an isolated event caused by an erroneous trade! This was not the result of algorithmic trading programs gone haywire either. I suspect that what happened could be explained by simple thievery on a grand scale. It seems that quite a large number of stocks worth 50 or more dollars temporarily traded for only a few cents, then regained almost their entire value. Anyone dumb enough to have invested all of their money and bought these stocks on margin probably had their positions liquidated automatically at the low price! There are quite a few people who are claiming that this is exactly what happened to them. There are quite a few people suggesting that some of the major online brokerages were not working well enough to make any trades at all for a while. I can confirm that this occurs quite regularly when things get busy. I suspect that the unavailability is a symptom of cheap and greedy brokers, and not a grand scheme to steal from their customers.

This is an important issue to look at, however. It is common knowledge that people buy stocks on margin all the time. It doesn't take too big a mental leap to see what happens:

Person has $1000, but gets a loan from their broker to buy $2000 worth of stock. (this is called buying on margin)

If the $2000 worth of stock loses half of its value, you lost your entire $1000.

If the $2000 worth of stock loses more than half of its value, you still owe the brokerage $1000 for the loan.

If the brokerage fears that you won't be able to pay back the loan because the stock has fallen too far, they will sell it for you to protect themselves.

It would be too much work to manually keep track of every person who buys stock on margin, so there are computer programs that do the liquidation automatically.

If a stock goes from say $58 a share to 35 cents, these programs will probably sell you out at the 35 cent price, and you are screwed.

You don't need to be a genius to see that if you can manage to get a widely traded stock to temporarily trade for an extremely low price, some people won't even get a chance. On a less grandiose scale, this technique is called running the stops. In order to minimize losses, a stop order can be used to automatically sell when things don't go your way. The selling caused by a large stop order can trigger further stop orders, and the process can self-sustain for a while if nobody steps in to buy.

There is no question that even the most reputable and well known online brokers engage in some of the most egregious practices with regard to their client's accounts. I think the test of time will show that something very big, and very sinister happened today. Pay attention to who benefits, because somebody always does.

Today there was an unexplained stock market plunge. Be prepared for anything tomorrow!

There was apparently a huge stock market plunge today for no apparent reason. I say no apparent reason because at this point nobody can explain what happened. You can always attach a reason to a price move after it has occurred. Many amateur traders do this routinely to pretend to be smart. What is the real story?

First, recognize that the transactions actually took place. There is some speculation that somebody typed a "B" for billion by accident instead of "M" but I don't like that theory. It is just plain stupid. At world hack we all know better. An explanation is only as good as its usefulness for predicting the future, and it is useless to make predictions based on when and if people are making typos. Are we expected to believe that people capable of making trades in the billions are typing the quantities manually? Only if we are in some 1980s science fiction fantasy story.

How about a second opinion from world hack? If it truly is possible to knock the crap out of the market by typing something wrong, someone would have found a way to profit from it. Just buy some out-of-the-money put options, and BOOM! It would be easier than insurance fraud and arson. So, unless proven otherwise: I say this wasn't a mistake.

Somebody, or some group, had to be doing some real selling. I don't care who. Take a quick, careful, thorough look at what was going on today and what could be happening soon:

Greece?

Audit the fed?

Armageddon?

Black Swan?

What is the deal with Greece? Nearly seven years ago now I was taking a course on the politics of eastern Europe, and how otherwise poor countries were trying to get into the European Union. Greece was mentioned as an example way back then, but we didn't go into detail because Greece wasn't really considered eastern Europe. Nonetheless, Greece is a stand-out example of what can happen when valueless paper money is used. Like junk bonds, there is only one meaningful consideration: Is it worth anything? Junk bonds can become worthless in an instant if the interest can't be paid, or worse the principal. I suspect that we will hear more about this tomorrow.

I'm not so sure about the auditing of the fed being the cause. If anyone truly harbors any fear over what might be found if the federal reserve is forced to make more information public, I doubt they will be selling stock to get their hands on more dollars.

Armageddon and black swans are really the same thing in my opinion. People get used to things being a certain way, and they make their investments accordingly. If somebody has inside information about a major news story, they picked a really stupid way to try to make a profit. I don't see what happened today as being a result of insider information about a black swan event.

So, what is the deal? Somebody sold a lot of stock, and they did it when there were few motivated buyers. A truly evil overlord plan would have acted with more subtlety. This has to be a lower level operation if the selling is truly a result of a planned attack. I might be alone in thinking that what was seen today was nothing more than honest fear. Either way, you can expect similar phenomena in the near future. Fear breeds fear. Somebody upset the balance today.
